Partners in Education celebrates successful year
The Knox County Schools Partners In Education program celebrated another successful year April 28 at its annual banquet held at the Sarah Simpson Center.
Barney Thompson Scholarship Winners Senior Class Presidents
A graduating senior from each Knox County high school receives a $500 scholarship honoring the late Barney Thompson.

Salsarita's Fresh Cantina presented $2,500 to Inskip Elementary The Halls Middle School Jazz Band, directed by Tiffany Kimbro, provided entertainment for the celebration.

was invited to give the invocation for this year's Partners In Education celebration then was surprised to discover that he was one of the two Becky Ramsey Award winners.
